The Clousplitter Gondola takes 8 passengers per gondola from the base of Whiteface to the Summit of Little Whiteface Mountain, elevation 3678 ft. It is approximately a 15 minute ride each way, with beautiful southern views of the eastern High Peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains. Once on the top, you have an almost 360 degree view, with only the summit of Whiteface Mountain to the NW in the way.
The gondola operates all year, with tourist excursions in most months, but with skiers during the winter months. Here are some operating windows for 2010:
