This sculpture by renowned artist Jim Reno is located near the entrance of the American Quarter Horse Museum in Amarillo. The art work shows a cowboy on his horse. The horse is down really low, staring into the face of the cow. The artist did a wonderful job showing the action of both the cow and the horse.
This is one of several sculptures in front of the museum, several of which are memorials to famous race horses. Next door to the museum is the AQHA Headquarters, and there is a sculpture of Wimpy there, the first registered American Quarter Horse.
