The mural is signed by Susan Higginson, and features local icons of the area, Dannevirke's Viking heritage, the Tui Brewery at Mangatainoka, the Norsewood wooden wheel and axe, the windfarms on the top of the Ranges, the Pukaha Mt Bruce wildlife sanctuary and the American Harvard Mk II training plane (NZ918) that has been made into a children's slide at Pahiatua.
