It may not have the spit and polish of a fancy, engraved granite headstone, but I guess it gets the job done.
Located in Mount Hope Cemetery east of Crescent, this marker memorialized W. T. and Nancy Meeks, husband and wife, with these immortal words:

12. 18.41 and
departed this
life March 5, 1923
