My goal with this series was to create a Lucky 7 that visitors to Coors Field could enjoy and quickly complete. I work in this area twice a month, so there are many, many more Waymarks I and others have posted than just these.
Coors Field Town Clock - I just love clocks; I guess it is the French in me! I wanted to use this HUGE Bulova clock as the center point to recognize that large timepiece.
"The Player" honoring Branch Rickey taught me about his achievements in breaking the 'color-barrier' in baseball and, by extension, many other professional sports.
El Chapultepec has always looked rather seedy, but hosts many of the best jazz musicians in the country.
I watched The Andenken Mural being created. For many weeks, it just looked like huge blue 'scrubbing bubbles!'
I am so glad I was able to get 'Evolution of the Ball' into the lineup. This clever arch is a great tribute to our fascination with balls and sports.
I have walked past the Vesta Dipping Grill many times, never realizing it had been a 'star' on Rachel Ray's TV show.
The Gill Foundation is a champion working for equal rights for all people. Though I am in no way related, I do support their efforts.
The Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple is the entry for the Buildings department, but there are several other Waymarks at this quaint location. I enjoy studying how different an Asian bell is from a European bell!
The Superlatives category holds 'OLDEST -- Active CEO Jack A. Weil' to honor the American spirit of hard work providing rewards.
Denver Skatepark is a spectacular outdoor skate board and bicycle facility with a huge abstract piece and picnic area.
Skyline Park is a quirky strip park that span 15th to 18th street at Arapahoe.
A benchmark at Union Station.
