George Lunceford was born June 8, 1762 in Lancaster, Virginia.
During the Revolutionary War he first as a soldier in George Rogers Clark and
was involved in the capture of Kaskaskia and Praire du Rocher in 1778. He
enlisted again January 20, 1780 and served Baley's Company. He was discharged
February 18, 1783. He died December 8, 1808.
