The South Rim Visitor's Center is open all year long from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm with extended hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm in the summer (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day).
While you are here for the passport stamp, you might as well check out the hiking and cross-country trails, fishing, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, wildlife watching, horseback riding, or just view the natural beauty from your car.
If you have middle and grade school-aged children, the Junior Ranger program is highly recommended.
