Salem County Community College (SCCC) is a fully accredited 2 year co-ed public community college. It is authorized to grant Associate's degrees and certificates in over 40 programs of study. In addition, the main campus serves as a satellite location for Farleigh Dickinson University's School of Administrative Science.
As with any community college, the enrollment is constantly in flux, but on average, SCCC has about 1500 students enrolled. This does not include the adult school and community programs that are conducted on the campus. The campus itself is spread over 11 acres in Carneys Point, backing up to the Sakima Country Club. If you need a little release after class, walk out the back door right onto the fairway!! :)
