This post box is set in the wall alongside the road. It is still in use with daily collections during the week and one on the weekend. The letters 'V' and 'R' are located either side of the crown. Below this are the words 'Post Office' on the roof of the letter slot. The faint wording of 'letters' can be seen underneath the slot.
This box did have a slot to show the day of the next collection, in this case Tuesday.
