Shelley Shaffer, the owner of Silver Bells, found out in 2004 that the trees on her property were infected with the Emerald Ash Borer disease. She found out that the trees were only infested in their outermost layer. Artist Kirt Bausman, a wood chainsaw carver from Monroe, created these wonderful eight-foot sculptures.
