The granodiorite boulder is an Ice Age floods erratic. It was deposited by an Ice Age flood near what is now the intersection of Clodfelter Rd. and 10th Ave. in West Kennewick. This erratic probably originated in northern Idaho or western Montana and was rafted to its West Kennewick location within an iceberg carried by the floodwaters over 12,500 years ago.
