Nice granite memorial to all Cass County Servicemen killed in action.

This granite stone memorial is situated near the downtown public area of Hackensack, MN. The memorial of red granite lists the names of each servicman killed in action from World War I to the present time and the listing is arranged by war and community.

The memorial was from the Sons of the American Legion, Hackensack Squadron 202 and was dedicated on November 11, 1998. Newer casualties are engraved as needed.

Description of Memorial:
It is located in a downtown waterfront public area in Hackensack. Located near the post office, local retailers it sits at the end of a green city park. Also nearby is a fishing pier, boat ramp, library and more. There are trees flanking the memorial and it is very nicely maintained.
