Statue is located on a corner of the Church parish property, facing Goodwood Blvd. Very nice open brick cove type structure holds the statue. The cove area is within a beautifully landscaped garden, again on a small corner of the property. Statue appeasred to be in great condition, needed a good cleaning. The church parish is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Expanded description, from the Smithsonian pages about thiis statue states:
Saint Thomas More, with clefted chin, stands with hands folded and his eyes to heaven. He is dressed in vestments and wears a cross on a chain around his neck. There is a pointed ecclesiastical hat on his head. The sculpture rests on a short base with beveled edges. The sculpture is placed on an elevated foundation with a sloping front that is within a brick alcove.
