Shannon Falls is a spectacular waterfall, the third highest in BC. This is also the access point for the Stawamus Chief, an internationally popular hiking and rock-climbing area. The park is about 60km from Vancouver, and is a very popular weekend destination.

Background: From 1976 to 1982 the land was owned by Carling O'Keefe, who used the pure water for brewing their beer. In 1982 it was donated to the province, and became a park.
