The old city Hall of Dordrecht (South Holland) was built in 1383 by Flemish merchants. They used the building as a market hall for trade in woolen fabrics. Since 1544 the building was used by the directors of the city. The town hall square was built in 1679, the facade and staircase with lions date from the 19th century.
