The large Inukshuk was designed and donated by Peter Letkeman and named by the students of Pelee Island Public School in 2009.
Smaller Inukshuk's line the shoreline beside the "Stoneman", along West Shore Rd, along the north west coast of Pelee Island.
There is a small picnic table located adjacent to the Inukshuk where people are encouraged to stop and spend some time admiring the works of the children and even contribute by building your own Inukshuk along the shoreline.
