Merchantville, NJ Lucky 7

In a time when this borough struggles to keep its independence & prevent a merger w/ neighboring Cherry Hill, the historic society still maintains its fervor in maintaing the integrity of its historic streets. This waymark highlights those places.

The historic society has been keeping downtown Merchantville beautiful and authentic as possible to its original history. This is a early 20th century town with late 19th century roots, parts of which can still be seen today. There are many dedicated trees around the municipal hall. The borough square seems to be the center of the "historic" district (although not official). There are a few NRHP sites, a gazeboed area, the ubiquitous train tracks and restored train station and other noteworthy places to be explored in future Lucky 7s. And so, without further ado, here is a list of my seven waymarks, in descending category order.
