A larger than life sculpture of a farmer and plow celebrating the bountiful harvest of the Porterville region. Created by artist Kenneth Fox for and placed by the Porterville Bicentennial Commission. Artist Fox has placed other statues of similar size and materials in other cities. The site is also the location of the Tule River Stage Station.
There are two plaques, one reading the names of the bicentennial commission:
