This mountain has a great view, and the trail is 2.7 miles long. It has a log at the start of the hike in order to track how many visitors they have on average, so be sure to sign it.

The hike could be very difficult if it is raining, as our group had some difficulties with sliding around when it rained the night before. Also, there are some log bridges to cross that you would definitely not want to cross if it were wet and slippery. If its a tad muddy there are stones placed in certain spots to avoid puddles.

We saw a few dogs that made it to the summit, but they were all large, so I would not suggest bringing a small dog along for the hike. Also, there are some spots where it is necessary to climb directly up and down steep rocks, but it is do-able for an average person.

The trailhead is on Route 3 beween Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake.
The bus parked across the road from the trailhead.

The view is awesome so BE SURE TO BRING A CAMERA!!!
Altitude in Feet: 3352
