In a quiet area south of the Margarite B Parker Chapel on the campus of Trinity University is a memorial garden for the victims and heros of September 11, 2001. Beside a brick wall, in the shade of Crape Myrtles and other shrubs, a metal bench is placed for those who want to meditate and pray about the events that occured and the lives that were lost on 9/11. On the brick wall near the bench, a memorial plaque reads,"In Memory of the Victims and in Honor of the Heros of September 11, 2001. From the Trinity University Community"
