This stone inscription is located in an entrance to the Walled Garden in Wrest Park.

The Walled Garden is currently undergoing restoration but this inscription can be seen from the main grounds. It reads:

'These gardens were ENLARGED and DECORATED by Thomas Philip Earl De Grey in the year 1836.'

This was the same year Wrest Park House was finished after being rebuilt.
