This is a tower clock, with three faces, located near the entrance to the Thung Na Choei Public Park, near the centre of the city. This park holds a monument to King Taksin the Great (WM9AVG), a revered figure in this region of Thailand.

The clock is highly visible, situated along a busy road. A clock face can be seen from both directions along this road, as the road bends at this point. The third face of the clock can be seen from a minor road behind and from the park.

The inscriptions on the clock tower describes the people and organisations involved in its construction, and the cost, one million baht (~$30,000us), and the year of construction, 1986 (2529 in the Buddhist calendar).
