Harrah, Oklahoma is about 25 miles east of Oklahoma City, several miles north of I-40.
Harrah Public Schools' mascot is the Panther, so that is why there is a panther logo at the top of the Welcome to Harrah sign.

The City of Harrah is named after Frank Harrah, merchant (according to epodunk website). Estimated population: 6,000. There are three elementary schools, a middle school, junior high, and a high school. There are two large cemeteries in Harrah, close together on the main drive near the Harrah Library and Harrah Historical Society.
