DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1970 7.5 MI SE FROM BELLEVUE. ABOUT 7.5 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAYS 52 AND 67 FROM THE JUNCTION OF THE HIGHWAY AND STATE HIGHWAY 62 AT BELLEVUE, 50 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, SET VERTICALLY IN THE NORTH FACE OF A 20- X 40- X 10-FOOT ROCK, 2.8 FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE ROCK, 1.4 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND, 16.5 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF A METAL GRAIN BIN, AND ABOUT 5 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY. SECTION 14, T85N, R5E.
