On the left, a square benchmark marks both height above New York Harbor sea level as 545.674 feet and height below Lake Michigan Chicago Datum as 34.156 feet.

On the right, a circular benchmark from the US Geological Survey dated 1920 marking 546 feet above sea level. (Also indicating a $250 fine if you chisel it out of the wall!)

Found by pure luck while locating bust of Joliett high overhead for another waymark.
