This stone marker caught me by surprise, and I had to do a little research on it. Located on the croungs of the church Landing Farm Museum, this marker sits directly in front of a storage shed for the museum.

It is marked with 1950 on the east and west sides, and U P N TWP on the north side, and L P N TWP on the south. Until 1965, what is now Pennsville Twp., NJ was divided into Upper Penns Neck and Lower Penns Neck Townships. All of Lower Penns Neck was incorporated into Pennsville, while a portion of Upper Penns Neck actually became part of Carneys Point, NJ in 1965.
