This full-sized reproduction (Monumental Size) of Frederic Remington's 'Bronco Buster' is in the parking lot of a local shopping center. This is probably his most famous piece and the smaller version (originally sculpted in 1895) in the White House Oval Office on a credenza. The piece was a gift of Miss Virginia Hatfield and Mrs. Louis Hatfield Stickney during the Carter Administration. If you watch the newscasts carefully, you may see it!

Remington had a long career as an artist whose mediums included drawing, painting and later sculpting. An excellent biography may be found at (visit link) .

Remington's works are no longer covered by copyright law, so reproductions may legally be cast. This is a 'museum-quality' piece, so it has the fine details of the original version.
