Various birds such as falcons, turkey vultures, eagle and the like can been seen soaring and gliding on the air currents that form over the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. This structure affords an amazing opportunity to view them unobstructed by trees.
Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority administers the park and has placed several informative boards near the entrance to the wooded hiking area. One provides a great introduction to casual visitors to the location so that they can get a start on this hobby.
