These two golden bells are situated in a Wat at the centre of the small city of Rayong, in eastern Thailand. Specifically, they are on a stand at a corner of the grounds of the Sermon Hall (Vihan), behind an open fence. Unfortunately, when I visited the Wat, it was closed. That is to say, the gates were closed and locked. No idea why, but there was a sign on the gate (in gallery).

Yet, these bells are clearly intended to be rung by visitors to the Wat. They have a wooden striker attached to the bell stand, and they are the usual type of bell used for this purpose. The only difference between this arrangement of bells and others I have seen in Thailand is the fact that these bells are gold in colour. I can only speculate that, as there is a shrine to a prominent king of Thailand on the Wat grounds, King Taksin, that the bells are so coloured in his honour.
