And it has been continuously operated as such all this time. The current Brick Store building was constructed in 1824.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Having served as the local post office until 1942, some of the original post office boxes still remain. On the outside brick walls you can still see the old painted signs advertising Morrison’s English Liniment and Lady Poor’s Ointment.
