Wat Pa Pradu, situated in the town and province of Rayong in eastern Thailand, is famous for its reclining Buddha (which is a sight worth seeing in itself, if you happen to be in the area). At the entrance to the Buddha shrine there is a bell, a bell intended to be rung by visitors. This bell is of a standard design and size for Wats in Thailand. The procedure is for visitors to make an offering and donation at the reclining Buddha, and to then strike the bell three times.
The bell is just over a metre off the ground, and there is a wooden bell striker resting on the top of the bell.
