Cres (pronounced "Tsres" in Croatian) is an Adriatic island in Croatia. It is one of the northern island in the Kvarner Gulf and can be reached via ferry from the island Krk or from the Istrian peninsula (line Brestova-Porozina).
 

On Trg Frane Petrica (Trg means Place) near the old harbor you'll find this fountain, which is illuminated at night. Nearby are a lot of shops, restaurants and bars.
