Evergreen Cemetery is a tricky one to find. When heading west on the northside I-40 access road, you will find the cemetery on your right side (north side of the road). If you get to a dead-end, you missed the cemetery.
The cemetery has a nice lush landscaped sign and arch after the initial iron gate at the road, but once you pass that you will see a large arid terrain. The arch and cemetery sign are an iron top -arch with the word "Evergreen Cemetery" on top of a 5 ft. stone pillar on each side.
There are many upright headstones, but a lot of the burial locations out here are marked-off (bordered)like raised flower beds. It is a beautiful cemetery and well kept up.
There are several really nice big Evergreen trees out here, but much of the terrain is typical desert brush and trees.
