Use supportive footwear when walking on edges of rocks in the creek bed.

It is best viewed during a period of ice and snow melt-off.
Generally, it is viewable from December through April.
Waterproof footwear is desirable because it is the easiest to walk in the stream bed.

During the summer, about of two inches of rainfall are required within a day or so, to view a impressive veil of white lace falling water.

I often use walking shoes and choose my steps quite carefully to avoid the water in the stream bed.
