We enjoyed a wander round this museum with its interesting displays. It is located at the railway station and has a miniature railway ride and model railway displays associated with it.
The displays are very thoughtfully assembled and the models can leave you mesmerised for ages as you keep on spotting different things.
There is a little area for dodgem cars and rides for the children with the Tomy Tram which can be operated by them. There is a shop with many airfix models, train sets and planes. The cafe is a real buffet train car which stands outside the museum entrance.
Conwy Valley Railway Museum was formed in the 1970s by Alan Pratt. Originally it consisted of a small exhibition in a standard coach, the museum building was then added. The 15" gauge Brittannia locomotive is one of the highlights in the museum.
