This Museum is is operated by the Friends of Steam - it holds the history of Irrigation in the area from the founding of the fruit growing area and the irrigation methods used to deliver precious water for the fruit growers. It houses the only 2 Humphrey Pumps in the Southern Hemisphere and on running days the only working Humphrey Pump in the world swings into action to show the might of delivering the huge volumes of water that was required.
It has a 2'narrow gague railway that takes visitoers on a journey out of the museum and along the fruit blocks of the area, pulled by either the 100 year old Steam train named "Margaret"of the Diesel loco on non-steam days.
It is also the home to the 1920 Fowler Z7 "George William" Steam powered Traction Engine.
