This track was originally a horse racing track at Evergreen State Fairgrounds. In 1954 it was first used as an auto race track, and was first paved in the 60s. The facility incorporates a 5/8 mile outer oval, 3/8 and 1/5 mile inner ovals, a figure 8 track using the 1/5 mile track, and a 1/8 mile drag strip. The track is one of the few sanctioned by both NASCAR and NHRA. There is permanent seating for 7,500 spectators in the main grandstand, and room for more than 10,000 other in temporary stands.
