Chelmsford Historic Marker |
A simple dedication to the founding of the historic town of Chelmsford. This marker can be found directly in the center of town, at the busy intersection of Route 4, Route 110, and Route 27.
The inscription on the marker reads: "Settled in 1653 by people from Concord and Woburn. Named after Chelmsford in Essex."
