This is Pershore Railway Station on the Worcester to London Mainline. Now only a Halt station this was once a dual track double sided station when it opened on the 1st May 1852 but when the axe fell in the Beeching report it was reduced to single line halt status. Originaly on the GWR line it is now served by the First Great Western Rail network. The Canopy for the original station was made by the steam Engine maker Fisher Humpheries just the other side of the bridge at the time.
