Located a surprisingly long distance eastwards from the capital city of the province, Roi-Et, is the Roi-Et province Rajabhat university. There is a Rajabhat university in each of the provinces of the north east region (Esarn) of Thailand. They cater to the academic needs of this agricultural area of the country.
The buildings of this particular campus are spread across a wide area. A motorbike or good shoes are necessary to get around. The campus buildings also look to be of relatively recent construction. There were no English language signs (apart from the main entrance sign) visible, not could I find anyone at the admin desk who could speak good English (I did visit on a weekend). However, the university provides the usual, full range of courses, and is well designed and maintained.
