JB Jones built the Hotel Vendome in 1917. It is the only example in Prescott of a two story structure built exclusively for residential use during the first quarter of the Twentieth Century. The hotel was restored and modernized in 1983 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The hotel is half a block from the busy downtown area, Whiskey Row, Courthouse Plaza, Sharlot Hall Museum, antique shops, restaurants and many more attractions. It is quaint, serving continental breakfast as well as providing a light glass of beer, wine, coffee, tea or just hot cocoa.
