The Little Rock Central Fire Station was built in 1913. The building was designed by architect Charles Thompson, the same architect who had designed the adjacent City Hall a few years earlier. The fire station was designed in a Classical Revival style. The fire department moved out of the building in the 1970s and it was converted to storage. When the city hall was renovated the old fire station was renovated and converted to city offices.
