We came here for a geocache and stayed for a stroll along the trail. Unfortunately, it was too foggy for birdwatching, but they've got to be here somewhere. After all, Bodega Bay was the location of Al Hitchcock's classic "The Birds."
The trail leads along a revitalized salt water marsh, that is (according to the park's website) "...home to thousands of birds throughout the year."
