Extending out into the North Arm of the Fraser River some 40 metres, the No. 7 Road Pier original started life as the Canadian National Railways ferry and barge terminal to ship rail cars to Vancouver Island. Today it is a fishing pier.

Located off of River Road the No. 7 Road Pier was originally a ferry and barge terminal where railcars were transported to Vancouver Island.

Today it is place where people can get closer to the water and for those in the know, as there are no interpretative signs, can appreciate this important marine and rail facility that once served the Island.
