This is one of many granite posts used to mark points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Town of Hamilton and the Town of Wenham. The letters "H" (for Hamilton) and "W" (for Wenham) are inscribed on opposite sides. It is approximately eight inches square and three feet high.
The marker is located near the northwest corner of Pleasant Pond, between the pond and the Recreation Area parking lot.
