The Wallowa Mountains Visitor Center is located at the Eagle Cap Ranger District Office of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The Eagle Cap Ranger District covers 387,915 acres of which 354,692 acres are in the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. The visitor center provides information on the area and the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
