Ok, score. This is the largest, visitor ringable bell, I have seen in SEA. It is situated in a 'tourism' Wat, just outside the provincial city of Sisaket, in north eastern Thailand.

Wat Ban Sang Ruang is maybe 10 minutes from the city by motorbike. The Wat contains a number of tourist attractions, statues, displays, recreation areas, and a surprisingly good local museum. Worth a look all by itself.

The bell in question is part of the tourism trail around the Wat grounds. Make a donation, pray, and then — ring the big bell. As you can see in the gallery, the bell is ~1m tall, and the striker is supported for your use by two stone monkeys. Three rings is the expected action. It makes a big, deep, resonant, and long lasting sound. Way to go.

Nearby there is also a gong, which is >2m in diameter! You are also entitled to whack this big thing three times. The sound it makes is even louder, deeper, and more resonant (maybe ear protectors).

Great fun.
