The Battle of the Bluthohl took place in 1525.
The farmers of the region had been due to high taxes attached to the southwest German uprising and attacked many aristocratic and monastic estates, looted and vandalized.

Die Schlacht in der Bluthohl fand im Jahre 1525 statt.
Die Bauern der Region hatten sich zuvor aufgrund zu hoher Abgaben dem südwestdeutschen Aufstand angeschlossen und zahlreiche Adels- und Klostergüter angegriffen, geplündert und verwüstet.
Es handelt sich hier um eine Schlacht in einem Hohlweg.
Dieser ist noch gut zu erkennen.
