The time capsule is located on the right side, at the city hall entrance. The plaque that's on the ground reads:
"To commemorate the 200th birthday of our nation , the Millbrae bicentennial committee has buried in the time capsule below, items of substance and trivia relating to Millbrae, 1976. To be opened in the year 2076. We pray that it will provide knowledge and insight of our life and times to those who follow."
