This is another coal post that could do with a lick of paint. And it seems that there is a plate missing from the front. There are four studs where it may have fitted.
It is thought that there was an annex built onto the nearby Queen's Head (WM9ZAD) to house the tax collector for this and coal post 34.
You will see that there is a do waste bin in the background of the general area picture. I have to suspect that this means that this poor old post has a modern dog related use.
